Emma Rawicz - INKYRA

Praised by Jamie Cullum as "an astonishing new talent", Emma Rawicz has captivated audiences and critics alike. The young star from London gained prominence on Instagram with her impressive skills on the tenor saxophone, flute, and bass clarinet. Her compositions draw inspiration from legendary saxophonists/composers like Joe Henderson and Wayne Shorter.

Her debut album Chroma explores the theme of colour, with Emma emphasising the synthesis between music and sensory impressions. The result is a rich, orchestral album that features some of the UK’s finest jazz talents. The music combines influences from Indian traditions, Latin rhythms, fusion, and singer-songwriter elements.

Her upcoming album INKYRA explores a fresh blend of rock, fusion, and singer-songwriter music combined with jazz as its foundation. Each band member’s distinct personality and energy create a powerful on-stage chemistry. Expect lightning-fast solos, collective improvisation, and infectious grooves!
