Blue Man Group: World Tour

Blue Man Group returns to Rotterdam with its internationally successful mix of live music, comedy, visual art and wonderfully strange experiments.

The three unmistakable bald, blue performers communicate almost entirely without words, using percussion, custom-built instruments, paint, technology and audience interaction to create a show that moves between concert, theatre and performance art. That makes the production particularly accessible to international audiences, as there is very little spoken language to follow.

Blue Man Group began at New York’s Astor Place Theatre in 1991 and has since been seen by more than 50 million people worldwide. The concept continues to evolve with new music, visual effects, stories and instruments while retaining the playful curiosity and non-verbal humour that made the group famous. The company is now owned and operated by Cirque du Soleil Entertainment Group.

Rotterdam last hosted Blue Man Group in 2023. This time, the World Tour takes over RTM Stage for seven shows between 17 and 21 March 2027.
