Live Music in Rotterdam
Wed, 2. December 2026, 21:00 h Europe/Amsterdam
KyoYoko

Description

Beijing four-piece KyoYoko comes to V11 with an unpredictable mix of post-punk, industrial, electronica and free jazz.

Formed in 2020, the band has become part of China’s independent music scene while taking its experimental sound to stages in Seoul, Tokyo, Vladivostok and beyond. Their music shifts between angular post-punk, electronic textures and noisier improvisation, making them a good fit for listeners of Re-TROS, The Rapture and Xiu Xiu.

The live show goes beyond the music. KyoYoko’s members manipulate and distort video footage while performing, turning each concert into an audiovisual experience where sound and imagery develop together in real time.
