Josh Ritter solo: Acoustic Europe Tour 2027

American singer-songwriter Josh Ritter returns to LantarenVenster for an intimate solo concert centred on voice, guitar, piano and storytelling.

Ritter has spent more than two decades building a career around literate songwriting, folk and Americana. His breakthrough came with Hello Starling in 2003, an album he revisited during a sold-out LantarenVenster concert in 2024.

His latest album, I Believe in You, My Honeydew, is his twelfth studio record and draws on the experience of a career spanning more than twenty years. Its sound carries echoes of artists including Bob Dylan, Joan Baez and Bob Weir.

For the Acoustic Europe Tour 2027, Ritter strips things back to their essentials. Performing solo, he gives his songs and stories room to breathe, moving between guitar and piano in a setting that puts his voice and songwriting at the centre.
