Moss

Dutch indie rock band Moss returns to Rotown with Lost in Motion, a new album that continues the group’s habit of shifting shape without losing its melodic core.

Led by Marien Dorleijn, Moss has spent years moving between warm indie pop, electronics and krautrock. Lost in Motion explores ageing, change and the things that remain when other parts of life fall away, with love, connection, doubt and the search for stability running through the record.

The band broke through with Never Be Scared/Don’t Be a Hero in 2009 and has returned to Rotown several times since. Their new album is due on 6 November 2026, ahead of this Rotterdam show the following spring.

Listeners of The Shins, Alt-J and Whitney should find plenty to enjoy in Moss’s mix of strong songwriting, subtle electronics and slightly off-centre indie pop.
