Portuguese fado singer Mariza returns to Rotterdam with Amor, a programme based around her new album of the same name. Love, nostalgia and identity form the central themes, while the music draws on traditional fado alongside contemporary influences. Born in Mozambique and raised in Lisbon’s historic Mouraria district, Mariza has spent more than two decades taking Portuguese music to international stages. The Rotterdam concert is presented by de Doelen and Summertime Music.
