Dutch hyperpop artist Alice Olsthoorn comes to Rotown after appearances at Noorderslag, Down The Rabbit Hole, Wildeburg and Best Kept Secret.

Known from Amsterdam’s queer rave scene, Olsthoorn makes Dutch-language hyperpop that blends pop hooks with deconstructed club production and a deliberately confrontational edge. Her track In NL Mag Je Een Vrouw Slaan combines social criticism with a club-ready sound.

Listeners of Merol, SOPHIE, Shygirl and Elmer may recognise the mix of sharp electronic production, humour and high-energy pop. Alongside her music, Olsthoorn is also known as a YouTuber and online creator.
