SOYUZ come to BIRD with a live show that moves between jazz, soul, folk and psychedelic pop. Founded by Alex Chumak and Mikita Arlou, the Minsk-born collective now works across different cities, with a sound shaped by movement, collaboration and change.

After gaining international attention with Force of the Wind, supported by KEXP, BBC Radio 6 and Worldwide FM, SOYUZ continue that journey with KROK. Recorded in São Paulo, Stockholm and Warsaw, the album brings folk ballads, jazz colours and layered multilingual compositions into one flowing sound.

Live, the band is known for improvisation, interaction and a sharp sense of ensemble playing. They have appeared at festivals including Primavera Sound and ESNS, played sold-out rooms across Europe, and recorded a BBC Maida Vale session for Gilles Peterson. Fans of Khruangbin, Little Dragon, Sessa, Yin Yin and Glass Beams should keep this one close.
