Dawn Brothers & Friends celebrate 50 years of The Last Waltz

Fifty years after The Band’s legendary farewell concert, Rotterdam’s Dawn Brothers bring The Last Waltz to De Doelen. The show is part of a limited Dutch theatre run, with the Rotterdam performance taking place in the Grote Zaal.

The original 1976 concert at Winterland Ballroom in San Francisco was immortalised by Martin Scorsese and became a landmark in rock history. For this tribute, Dawn Brothers & Friends revisit that spirit with folk rock, Americana, blues and a line-up of special guests, including names such as Michelle David, Tim Knol, Cato van Dijck, Nico Dijkshoorn, Ian Siegal, Darryl Ciggaar, Fleur Elman and Pablo van de Poel. Quite the guest list. Subtle, it is not.
