Description

De Baron bring their wild mix of polder punk, Balkan brass and Saharan sounds to Grounds for a night that promises movement, mischief and a very lively room. The band turns every show into a musical journey from west to east, with one clear goal: to throw a big party wherever they land.

Their sound blends anarchic energy with big melodies and a playful sense of chaos. One moment you may feel swept into a sea of crashing folk-punk, the next you are in something close to a klezmer mosh pit. Subtle? Not really. Fun? Absolutely.

After albums such as Benbiri and Beijebang, the band released BaalBek, a record where self-mockery, anger and hope meet in a colourful mix of Sahara rock, folk ballads and hard-hitting punk.
