Anda Morts

Austrian band Anda Morts brings a fierce, fast-moving strain of indie rock to V11 in Rotterdam. The sound is raw rather than polished, driven by wiry guitars, pounding drums and vocals that carry just the right amount of tension. Sung in German, the songs draw on influences from Neue Deutsche Welle and post-punk, while still landing with the kind of urgency that will also appeal to fans of Parquet Courts, The Strokes and Car Seat Headrest.

The trio is currently touring Europe with the I Hate This Part of Texas tour and this Rotterdam stop marks their first show in the Netherlands. Expect a high-intensity set with plenty of momentum from start to finish, the sort of concert that feels restless, direct and fully committed. For anyone who likes their guitar music lean, energetic and slightly rough around the edges, this one should hit the mark.
