Description

Washington, D.C. quartet BRNDA head to V11 in Rotterdam with a sound that refuses to play nice, or play it safe. Active since 2012, the band are described as exploring something elusive and uncompromising, with no covers and no love songs, just a jagged mix of art-punk, noisy no wave, and indie rock that can still lock into a groove when it wants to.

With four albums and an EP to their name, including the breakthrough record Do You Like Salt?, BRNDA sit comfortably in the lane of bands that turn tension into momentum. If Parquet Courts, Talking Heads, Gustaf, Cola, or The Raincoats are in your orbit, this should feel like the right kind of loud.

The concert is organised by Rotown and V11, and is standing room only.
