MEROL returns to Rotterdam for a show at Annabel, bringing her Dutch-language synth-pop back to a room built for big choruses and unfiltered singalongs. Since breaking through in 2018 with irresistibly catchy electro-pop, she has become a familiar festival presence at events such as Lowlands, Pukkelpop and Rock Werchter, with tracks like Lekker Met De Meiden and Lesgooo helping turn her sharp, cheeky pop persona into a crowd sport.

The new single Mommy is the fresh headline for this tour, and it fits her lane perfectly: playful, direct, and built on danceable beats with tongue-in-cheek lyrics. The listing also points to MEROL’s blend of humour, feminism and a DIY, queer-friendly attitude, with live shows that lean energetic, rebellious, and very hard to stand still through. The concert is organised by Rotown and Annabel, and is standing room only.
