Enigmatic Swedish post-psych band Den Der Hale are known for their boundary-pushing soundscapes. Their unique fusion of folk-inspired kraut, gritty psych, and post-rock led to the band’s creation of the term "post-psych" which perfectly encapsulates their distinctive sound. By filtering rhythmic patterns and atonal melodies with heavy effects and contrasting harsh layers of noise with lively bass lines and driving percussion, they create a sound that is entirely their own. There is always a common thread running through this seemingly chaotic mix, which makes every musical outcome sound very harmonious.
