On Thursday 18 December, V11 hosts an enchanting double bill featuring Josephine Odhil and Marta Arpini—two distinct voices in modern music, each with a brand-new album.

Josephine Odhil
Amsterdam-based Josephine Odhil crafts art-pop infused with surreal, cinematic flourishes and eerie intimacy. Drawing from literature, film, and the darker side of the human psyche, she blends gritty beats, whispery melodies and distorted soundscapes into a dreamlike indie universe. Formerly of The Mysterons, Odhil is now forging her own path. Her sophomore solo album Monstera was released in April 2025 and further cements her as a one-of-a-kind storyteller on the festival circuit, with past shows at Lowlands, Transmusicales and Into The Great Wide Open.

Marta Arpini
Italian-born but Amsterdam-based, Marta Arpini began her career in jazz before evolving into a dazzling indie-pop songwriter. Her voice—delicate yet powerful—conjures the emotional elegance of Andy Shauf and the rich lyrical honesty of Adrianne Lenker. With roots in both jazz and bedroom pop, Arpini’s work dances between fragility and boldness. In 2025, she released her second album Tender Superpower, offering a compelling new chapter in her genre-fluid journey.
