Belgian pianist Jef Neve and Dutch trumpeter Teus Nobel form a golden jazz duo. Their shared creativity, improvisational playfulness and emotional synergy result in a warm, seductive sound. Together they’ve toured the world, building on years of collaboration and contributing fresh ideas to the international jazz landscape.

Their new album Esho Funi—named after a Japanese concept of unity between self and surroundings—was recorded live at LantarenVenster and combines original compositions with jazz classics. The interplay between Neve’s piano and Nobel’s trumpet and flugelhorn is fluid, inviting, and full of surprising charm. Expect musical finesse, touching stories, and the warmth of two friends on stage doing what they love best.
