Gaye Su Akyol, hailed as the Turkish Queen of Rock, is back in Rotterdam with her unmistakable retro-futuristic blend of Turkish psychedelia, Anatolian folk, soul, and rock. After releasing her acclaimed 2022 album Anadolu Ejderi (Anatolian Dragon), she returns with music infused with personal power, artistic risk, and mythological symbolism.
🎤 Expect a set full of hypnotic melodies, political storytelling, and sonic experimentation. Her lyrics reflect Turkey’s turbulent socio-political reality while calling for hope and resistance. Her voice and presence—bold, distinctive, and poetic—promise to take you on a cosmic ride through East-meets-West psychedelia.
