Description
Rock classics meet a full symphonic orchestra when conductor Friedemann Riehle brings Rock The Opera to de Doelen for the first time. The production combines orchestral arrangements with singers, guitar and drums, giving songs by Pink Floyd, Queen, Led Zeppelin, U2, Black Sabbath, Deep Purple and AC/DC a large-scale concert treatment.
The set includes Comfortably Numb, Whole Lotta Love, Somebody to Love, Don't Stop Me Now, Paranoid and Thunderstruck. Vocalists Giusy Ferrigno, Sabina Olijve and Giacomo Voli perform with guitarist Jiri Rambousek, drummer František Hönig and the Symphonic Rock Orchestra under Riehle.
