Dutch Classical Talent: Elizabeth Goh

Description

Pianist Elizabeth Goh brings The Little Blue Notebook to de Doelen as part of the Dutch Classical Talent series. The performance begins with the disappearance of a notebook filled with stories from a young imagination, allowing memories and new stories to emerge through piano and toy piano.

Music, electronics, extended piano techniques, storytelling and mime come together as the boundary between reality and imagination starts to blur. The programme includes music by Escher, Gubaidulina and Crumb, alongside new works by Mattias Spee and Apollon Kalamenios.
