Racoon celebrates 30 years at Rotterdam Ahoy

Description

Racoon celebrates its 30th anniversary with a major concert at Rotterdam Ahoy, looking back on three decades of Dutch and English-language music.

The Zeeland band has built up a catalogue that ranges from English-language favourites such as Love You More, No Mercy and Liverpool Rain to Dutch hits including Oceaan and Het Is Al Laat Toch. The anniversary show will bring songs from across that history together with newer material.

Racoon released its ninth studio album It Is What It Is in 2024 and followed it with new Dutch-language single Dicht Bij Het Vuur in September 2026. The band has won the Popprijs and three Edison awards, and has previously played a sold-out Rotterdam Ahoy.

The Rotterdam concert follows two rapidly selling anniversary shows at Amsterdam’s Ziggo Dome and gives the band another arena-sized stage for its 30-year celebration.
