Chef’Special comes to Maassilo as part of one final club tour with the band’s original line-up.
Before guitarist Guido Joseph leaves the group, the five-piece is returning to the clubs where its energetic live reputation was built. The Rotterdam show promises a final chance to see this version of Chef’Special up close, with favourites including Amigo, In Your Arms and Afraid of the Dark on the programme.
Formed in Haarlem in 2008, Chef’Special has developed a sound that moves between pop, rock, reggae, funk and hip-hop. After years of festivals and increasingly large venues, this farewell club tour brings the original formation back to a more intimate setting before the band enters its next chapter.

The Maassilo, located in Rotterdam’s bustling Maashaven area, is one of the city’s most distinctive and dynamic venues. Originally built in 1910 as a grain silo, the venue's industrial heritage is immediately apparent in its raw, concrete aesthetic. This historical site has been transformed into a vibrant cultural hub that plays host to a wide range of events, from concerts and club nights to corporate functions and private gatherings.
