Jono McCleery brings his atmospheric blend of soul, folk, and electronica to the intimate setting of V11 on March 6. With a career spanning from Ninja Tune releases to worldwide tours with Bonobo, he continues to captivate audiences.
Since his 2008 debut album Darkest Light—crowdfunded by fans including folk icon Vashti Bunyan and radio DJ Tom Robinson—Jono has carved out a unique place in the music scene. His releases on Ninja Tune and collaborations with Maribou State, Portico, and Maceo Plex showcase his seamless ability to navigate different styles. Supported by names like Gilles Peterson, Jamie Cullum, and Phil Selway (Radiohead), his music has also gained traction on stations like FIP and KCRW.
Following the pandemic, Jono relocated to Rotterdam, releasing the To Keep a Memory EP through Berlin-based label 90 Days, followed by the albums Here I Am and There You Are and Moonlit Parade.
With over 38 million Spotify streams and tracks featured in series such as This Is Us and Queen Sugar, Jono continues to evolve, experiment, and connect—delivering music that resonates and lingers.
