Description

Icelandic composer Ólafur Arnalds and Faroese musician Janus Rasmussen form Kiasmos, a duo that has been refining their signature sound for over 15 years. Their music blends ambient and rhythmic electronica with a subtle techno influence, yet without the expected climaxes—creating a hi-fi take on modern, danceable neoclassical electronica.

With their 2014 debut album, Kiasmos set a new global standard for electronic music, inspiring a generation of producers. Their success has taken them to major stages, from Tomorrowland to Lowlands. After a five-year break, the duo returned in summer 2024 with a new album, followed by their latest single Sisteron in early 2025.
