Feeling inspired? 'Bring your music and paint' in Rotterdam

Do you like to draw or paint? 'Muziek uit de verf' invites you to 'bring your own music' and create a work of art. All the materials are supplied on location. The event takes place on 8 March 2022 in De Groene Passage Rotterdam and is organized by iederal.

Music as a source of inspiration is nothing new. But painting or drawing with your own headphones or earphones, while channelling inspiration from music that touches you, is perhaps a new challenge. On 8 March 2022, the iederal organization is setting up an event that meets this (perhaps still undiscovered) need.

How it works?

Paint, materials and easels are available on location. An apron will be provided for you, but it is recommended that you wear dirty/old clothes just to be sure. You bring music that touches you and earphones or a headset.

You just listen to the music you have brought (of course, while using your own earphones or headphones), experience the inspiration and paint. After painting, you show your artwork and share your music with others. You'll be asked to explain why it inspires you and how you arrived at your creative choices. The goal of this, is to experience a connection. After the event, you take your masterpiece home with you.

Tickets and registration

There will be painting from 19.30 to 21.00 hrs, at De Groene Passage in Rotterdam. You can find more information about the costs, the location and registration on the event websiteevent website
