Jake Xerxes Fussell

Hailing from North Carolina, Jake Xerxes Fussell is a masterful storyteller of folk music. Often mentioned alongside guitar virtuosos like William Tyler and Ryley Walker, Fussell breathes new life into forgotten folk songs, reviving them with warmth and reverence. His deeply expressive voice creates a bridge between past and present, weaving narratives that feel timeless.

A collector of melodies and traditions, Fussell’s work carries a rich historical weight, yet his interpretations are strikingly fresh.
