Dag van de Componist 2026 puts Rotterdam composers in the spotlight
Dag van de Componist 2026 brings new work by young Rotterdam composers to the foyer of De Doelen’s Grote Zaal. Each year, emerging composers create new pieces in collaboration with Codarts, with selected works performed during this celebration of local composition.
The concert is performed by DoelenEnsemble with Rolf Verbeek. It is a compact lunchtime event, with fresh music in one of Rotterdam’s most recognisable concert venues. Lovely little cultural power move, really.
