Rotterdam children perform with Ieder Kind Een Instrument
Ieder Kind Een Instrument brings the results of a year of music education to the Grote Zaal of De Doelen. At the end of the school year, children from group 6 who have taken part in the SKVR project perform what they have learned at school.
The project is presented with the Rotterdams Philharmonisch Orkest and SKVR, giving young musicians a chance to experience the concert hall from the stage rather than the seats. Parents, classmates, family members and all Rotterdammers are welcome to come and watch.
It is a sweet one, this. Big hall, small musicians, probably massive nerves. Perfectly Rotterdam.
