Kianoosh Rahimi brings Afghan tradition and contemporary sound to De Doelen

Kianoosh Rahimi comes to the Jurriaanse Zaal with a concert that blends traditional Afghan music with contemporary sounds. Born in Kabul and rooted in Badakhshan, the singer and musician discovered music at an early age and has shaped that early fascination into a recognisable artistic voice.

Since starting his career in 2011, Rahimi has developed a repertoire that moves between pop and traditional Afghan music. His concerts carry energy, emotion and a strong connection to cultural background, while leaving room for his own work and new interpretations of beloved songs.

At De Doelen, Rahimi invites audiences into the richness of Afghan music, where tradition and renewal meet in a personal, modern sound.
