Rooted in a deep love for West African music and jazz, Creemers brings together talented musicians from the Netherlands and Mali to create his signature Malinke Groove Jazz. This bold blend of styles seamlessly merges traditional instruments like the kamale n’goni with jazz staples such as the saxophone and electric guitar.

In 2024, the band enjoyed a successful tour alongside Malian singer Kankou Kouyaté. This year, they’re back on tour with the addition of world-renowned balafon virtuoso Mamadou Diabaté from Burkina Faso. The ensemble features a rich line-up of drums, percussion, kamale n’goni, saxophone, guitar, bass guitar, and balafon.

Together, they craft a sound that is both authentic and electrifying, capturing the energy and soul of their shared musical journey. Their album Naamu has received widespread critical acclaim, with glowing reviews in prominent outlets like Songlines (UK), Trouw (NL), and Musicmaker (NL). Adding to their accolades, the album was nominated for the prestigious Edison Award in the Global category in 2023.
