After six years, Jonathan Kreisberg returns to LantarenVenster! Widely regarded as one of the most exciting figures in international jazz, the New York-born guitarist (b. 1972) is celebrated for his extraordinary technique, expressive tone, and remarkable talent for composing captivating pieces.

Kreisberg boasts an impressive career, having released numerous critically acclaimed albums, including collaborations with the Dutch label Criss Cross Jazz. Over the years, he’s worked alongside legends like Michael Brecker, Ari Hoenig, Stefano di Battista, Joe Henderson, and Lee Konitz. Perhaps most notably, Kreisberg was a fixture in the band of the late Dr. Lonnie Smith for over seven years, including a memorable performance at LantarenVenster in 2010.

Touring with his own group, Kreisberg captivates audiences worldwide with his unique style and powerful stage presence.
