Genre-bending pianist Elijah Fox returns to the Netherlands with his fully improvised solo piano tour, live at de Doelen’s Jurriaanse Zaal in Rotterdam. Inspired by Keith Jarrett, each performance is entirely unique—reflecting Fox’s personal impressions of the cities he visits. A Grammy-nominated pianist and producer, Fox also tours with Yussef Dayes and recently released Analog Works for the Highways of Los Angeles.

Based in Los Angeles, Elijah Fox is a multi-instrumentalist, singer, and producer who studied piano at Oberlin Conservatory under jazz luminaries including Sullivan Fortner and Gary Bartz. After relocating to New York in 2017, he built a diverse following, with collaborations spanning from Elton John to Lil Nas X, and production credits for artists such as SZA, Masego, Childish Gambino, and Kali Uchis.

His solo piano piece East Village was sampled by Drake in “Major Distribution,” reaching #3 on the Billboard Charts. His impressionistic composition Wyoming went viral on TikTok and surpassed 20 million streams on Spotify. Fox also composed music for the animated Netflix series Entergalactic, produced by Dot da Genius and starring Kid Cudi.

Fox’s improvisations blend neo-soul, R&B, lo-fi hip-hop, and jazz influences. His style nods to pianists like Ravel, Ahmad Jamal, and Robert Glasper, bridging genres with a dreamy, cinematic flair. He also releases instrumental music under the alias Soren Sostrom.
