Comedian Dave Chappelle and rapper Killer Mike have announced a joint tour for 2024. Combining comedy and music, this tour kicks off on 15th November at the Fox Theatre in Detroit before moving through seven American shows and eventually reaching Europe. Rotterdam’s RTM Stage will host them on Friday, 6th December.
About Dave Chappelle & Killer Mike
Dave Chappelle is one of the most influential comedians of his generation, winning the prestigious Mark Twain Prize for American Humour in 2019. With five Emmy Awards, Chappelle’s acclaimed Netflix specials include Sticks & Stones, Equanimity & The Bird Revelation, and appearances on Saturday Night Live. Chappelle has also won four Grammy Awards for Best Comedy Album, with his latest recognition in 2023 for What’s in a Name. In 2021, he launched The Midnight Miracle podcast alongside Talib Kweli and Yasiin Bey.
Killer Mike, a rapper, entrepreneur, and political activist, received Billboard’s Change Maker Award in 2020. His recent solo album, Michael (2023), has been nominated for three Grammy Awards and BET's Album of the Year. Known for his work with the hip-hop duo Run The Jewels, whose album RTJ4 (2020) was widely praised, Killer Mike is also an actor, appearing in films such as Baby Driver. He hosts the Emmy-winning PBS show Love & Respect with Killer Mike.
